The Trucking Safety & Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing all safety, regulatory, and compliance operations of the trucking company. This role ensures full compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and state regulations, reduces risk, manages driver qualifications, and maintains safe fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and state trucking regulations
• Manage driver qualification (DQ) files, including CDL, medical cards, MVRs, and drug & alcohol testing
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance
• Oversee vehicle safety inspections, DOT annual inspections, and maintenance records
• Conduct safety training and driver orientation
• Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports for insurance and FMCSA
• Manage Drug & Alcohol Consortium and random testing programs
• Prepare for and manage DOT audits and New Entrant Safety Audits
