Operate late model mid-spec trucks with automatic transmission, ensuring safe handling of refrigerated trailers and tankers.
Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
Most loads are drop and hook.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
Skills
Class A license with Air Brake and Tanker endorsement required!
Proven experience in truck driving.
Understanding of freight handling procedures.
Excellent route navigation skills to ensure timely deliveries.

Pay: $76,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year

We are currently seeking a primarily local driver with a valid tanker endorsement. The ideal candidate would be someone that lives in close proximity to Eden Valley or along the route from Eden valley to Howard lake. This position is on a 3 week rotation. The first shift is 6am- 4pm, Second is Mason City IA/ Float which consists of Mason City loads and/or helping on reefers depending on work load. The third position runs from 2pm-12pm.The right candidate needs to be a team player and have great communication skills. During shifts you may end up hauling DAF Water, delivering to Big Lake or Monticello and Gaylord. This position will be required to help out on some of our overnight runs on occasion to help fill in with PTO.
