Say you live with someone who makes you miserable. Say you have obligations and commitments keeping you there and maybe even other innocent parties you can't just blow everything up over.
What if this was more common than either of us realized?
What if, all over the area there were people in shitty situations that need a "third place" to exist without judgement, condition or interruption?
There are many inexpensive properties and rentals that an association of people, like a Club, could easily manage if they all went in on it together. Cheaper than paying the tab at local for food and booze just because you don't want to be "home" that moment. Could even qualify as a non-profit organization. A different kind of "escape" room, if you will.
I, for one, would gladly pay a nominal membership fee to an association for this privilege. This is what wealthy people use golf/tennis club memberships for.
That's my idea. A thought exercise because I have no resources. But I'd be curious to your thoughts on the matter!
