Courtyard Apartments is seeking a dependable, motivated, and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining apartment units, common areas, and property grounds while providing excellent service to our residents. This position requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and take pride in keeping the property safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
Perform apartment turns, including painting, drywall repair, flooring repairs, and cleaning.
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems.
Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repairs, and general carpentry.
Maintain building safety and ensure compliance with property standards.
Remove snow and ice during winter months and assist with lawn care during summer months.
Respond to maintenance emergencies when necessary.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Keep property grounds clean and presentable at all times.
Work closely with management to prioritize repairs and resident concerns.
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and appliance repair.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Must pass a background check.

Preferred Skills:
HVAC Certification (preferred but not required).
Boiler maintenance experience.
HUD/Section 8 property maintenance experience.
Experience with apartment turnovers and multifamily housing.
