The Area Supervisor will lead a team of 4-5 people to brood and finish turkeys at 3 farm sites. As the Area Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring that your farms are run efficiently and effectively, while maintaining and improving the facilities under your care.
Duties will be varied. They will include, but are not limited to:
· Create and communicate weekly schedules, as well as long range planning for the Osakis Hub
· Organize and lead employees in day-to-day tasks
· Perform maintenance and repairs on barns, equipment, and machinery
· Communicate daily with upper management on topics such as bird health and farm management
Requirements:
· Area Supervisors are required to provide their own basic set of tools
· Ability to learn how to repair all equipment common on a poultry farm
· Livestock or Poultry production experience (2+ years)
Preferred:
· Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
· Management experience
Schedule:
· Monday-Friday – 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
· This position participates in a rotating on-call weekend schedule, with time off during scheduled weekends and vacations.
