Snow-in-Summer, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial prized for its silvery-gray foliage and a profusion of small white flowers in late spring and early summer, creating a snow-like effect. It's an excellent, hardy ground cover for rock gardens, borders, and slopes, thriving in full sun and well-drained, dry soil, and is resistant to deer and rabbits. The densely packed, narrow, silvery-gray leaves are attractive year-round. It spreads via runners to form a dense mat, typically 6 inches tall, with flower stems reaching 8-12 inches. Full sun is essential. Deer-resistant. Drought-tolerant once established. It can be short-lived, with dead patches appearing after a few years, but it self-seeds.
