*Beginner Blacksmithing Class:
This two-day class will take you from an interest in blacksmithing to using your new skills to make useful objects from hot iron. You will learn techniques like drawing out, bending, scrolling, splitting, twisting, and more to create several small pieces to take home with you. The class is open to students of all skill levels and each class is limited to 10 students. Please note that classes are co-ed unless otherwise indicated.

*Knife Making Intensive Class
You’ve got some blacksmithing skills under your belt, so now you’re ready to make a knife, right? Not so fast! This Knife Making Intensive Class will give you the complete knowledge and confidence you need to make useful, quality knives that will stand the test of time. The class, divided into two parts, will be a true hands-on learning experience to either expand upon your knife making skills or start you on your way in knife making.
Class Dates: February 7-9th and 21-23rd, 2020 (six-day session)

*Couples Night
Love is in the air and the forges are fired up for this special Couples Night out! This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to take an evening to celebrate with your significant other at the shop. Couples will be working together to forge a personalized heart hook that will last for years to come.
February 14th, 2020 • 6:00-9:00pm

*Hand Hammer Class (using a Power Hammer)
In this one-day class, you will be forging a 2lb cross peen or straight peen hammer using tooling under the power hammer. Following a discussion on power hammer safety, you will discuss different methods of getting an eye in a hammer / tool blank and discuss different methods of hardening and tempering your hammer. You will then work in pairs to forge the face, draw out the peen, and heat treat your hammer.

April 3rd, 2020 • 9:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.

*Parent and Child Blacksmithing Class
In this special evening class, we invite you to join your aspiring-blacksmith kiddo for bonding, fun, and unforgettable memories. Parent and child will use teamwork to forge a simple project to take home. For everyone’s safety, children must be at least ten years of age.
