1999 Glaston 175-SX Ski and Fish (Tabs December 2025)
1999 Volvo Penta 135 HP inboard
1999 Shorlander 19’ Trailer (Lifetime Tabs)
Selling our 1999 Glastron Ski and Fish. We purchased it 10 years ago from the original owners in Forest Lake. They stored the boat inside when it was not in the water, and over the winter. We store on the water under a canopy during the season and wrap during the winter. Has always been professionally maintained (winterized, oil changes, etc).
We have mainly used it for tubing and hanging out on the water, but as kids have gotten older, everyone would prefer a pontoon. The tower on top was only used one summer by us (it would not fit under our lift), but it works amazingly for tubing, kneeboarding, etc! I have since attached it, and it will come with the boat. Comes off rather easily, 4 bolts.
Also, has a tow clip on the back if you do decide to take the tower off, works equally as well, just not as much leverage, and the rope skims the water, creating a more jerky ride.
The previous owners also had speakers attached to it (they kept them), but the heavy-duty wire remains and would be a simple setup if you chose to purchase speakers.
I installed a Sony Bluetooth radio to connect any phone and 4 Kenwood marine speakers.
Comes with a custom boat cover that looks very nice when attached, if you choose to store on a lift without a canopy or winterize without being shrink-wrapped. Just don’t drive with it on!
New marine battery purchased 1-2 seasons ago as well.
Replaced both trailer tires last fall when we winterized it. The trailer includes a spare. The trailer is missing one yellow side bulb cover.
The holes on the right side of the dash were from an OLD fish locator the previous owner had installed. It simply was outdated and removed, hence the hole.
Ladder off the back swim platform.
For being 26+ years old, the thing is in great shape. A few minor dings here and there, but nothing that affects the overall performance. The engine has always started immediately, using premium gas along with Sea Foam Marine additive each time. The only repair we’ve had to do was last summer, when we replaced the tilt arms and boot under the engine, which were just showing signs of wear.
I also reupholstered the back bench seats, shown in the pictures in all grey, and the front middle, also all grey. The plan was to replace 1-2 until they were all done, starting with the worst ones. Choose to keep one color to avoid seams where the old ones eventually ripped.
There was also carpet once upon a time, but as you can imagine, it was gross. I removed the screws so as not to catch on anyone’s feet. Again, it would be very simple to reapply screws in existing holes (I filled with caulk) and get a carpet made. We preferred it without carpet. It does get slippery if moving around a lot, but it also dries and cleans up much nicer!
The passenger side vent cover on the back was also taken off by the previous owner (I have found replacements on eBay, but they were $150, and I didn’t care)
I do have a digital handbook, in PDF format, I can send if you’d like more technical information or for parts.
We really have loved the boat and are sad to see it go, but hope it finds another family to create memories.
The boat is available any day, however, we both begin workshops Monday-Thursday next week and then school begins the week after and our hours will be limited. I could arrange to have it parked in Melrose during the day if given a day or two advance notice. Otherwise evenings after 5:00 work for us.

Our insurance for the year for reference was $105.
Our asking price is $5500, firm. I have seen them go anywhere from $4000 - $10,000. Based on overall condition, added wakeboard rack ($1000), custom cover, ours is definitely priced to sell!
