Antique camel-back steamer trunk from late 1800's. Only the very wealthy could afford such a trunk. The curved oak slats took a week in a steam cabinet to bend and shape, when they were made. Since the top is curved, the steamship lines cold not stack other trunks on top of it, so they always ended up placing them on the top of the stack. This has been wonderfully restored. New leather handles, and totally lined in fresh aromatic cedar. It is 34 inches wide, 19.5 inches deep, and 23.5 inches high. Would be a real statement piece in any room and also great for storing bed linens, quilts, etc. Available for local pickup. Cash only.
