Red Wing Pottery 20 Gallon Crock - $400 (St, Cloud, MN)

This is a vintage-antique original clay stoneware 20 gallon Red Wing crock. 20 ¼ inches high by about 18 ½” inches in diameter at the bottom. Weight about 70 pounds. Has bail handles. One handle is missing. The handle ear is all right, not chipped or cracked. Has a 6” inch long red wing. Oval below the wing reads “Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Red Wing Minn.” On the side up by a handle ear is a stamp that reads “Patented Dec. 21St 1915”. The usual normal marks from manufacturing. A chip at the bottom edge in front. See my photos. No other big chips and no cracks. Has a nice ring.
